Dance Artist, Choreographer, Performer, and Fitness Coach • New York, NY
Dance artist Neva Cockrell grew up in Pueblo, CO, where her love for physical activity began with competitive sports and outdoor recreation. She found dance at Oberlin College, and graduated with degrees in Dance and Environmental Science. Since moving to NYC a few years ago, she has danced with Kinesis Project, ANIKAI, Racoco Productions, Gehring DanceTheater, Kelley Donovan and Dancers, among others. These engagements, amongst others, have taken her to many venues in NY and the surrounding areas, abroad in a seven-city tour to India, and to a residency in Cork, Ireland. She is currently the choreographer and co-artistic director of Loom Ensemble, an interdisciplinary theater company, and an instructor at Physique 57. Neva is thrilled to be a member of In Noon!
