About

Founded in 2010, In Noon Dance is comprised of 12 artists in dance and related media who pool their skills and experience to the mutual benefit of both individual and In Noon Dance-related ventures. In Noon’s organizational structure is project-based, with a minimal, member-run administration that manages the website, membership and the peer-reviewed track for company repertory.

In its inaugural fundraiser on Kickstarter.com, In Noon raised over $5,900 with the help of 142 backers, placing the company on Kickstarter’s home page as a featured dance company in December 2010. In Noon has shown work in the Boston Center for the Arts curated Movement at the Mills program and in the Green Street Studios Emerging Artists Showcase in Cambridge, MA. In the spring of 2011 and 2012, Oberlin College invited In Noon to present a series of site-specific installations as part of its official Commencement programming. In Noon Dance received grant funding from the Foundation of Contemporary Art in the winter of 2012 for a 3-part series titled The Citizens, United.

In Noon Dance receives federal tax-exempt status as a fiscally sponsored project of Creative Thought and Action, Inc.
