Elizabeth Weinstein will be graduating from Oberlin College in the Spring of 2012 with a B.A. in Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies, Dance, and African American Studies. She has performed with Philadelphia’s Ausdruckstanz Dance Company (2008), Seattle-based choreographer Pat Graney (2010), and choreographer/yogi Jennifer Kries. Original work includes Pray, performed in Fall Forward (2010) and We Have Been Sad Long Enough to Either Make This Earth Weep or Grow Fertile performed in Hysteria (2010). Her work is currently focused on creating performance art at the intersections of movement improvisation, ritual, and birth.
